Director of Finance

StarkWare is a successful, fast-growing five-year-old startup that solves the inherent problem of blockchains – scalability. We use high-level math to develop scaling solutions that provide blockchain users with a secure, fast, and seamless experience.

We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance to build a strong foundation for the company's future growth. 

In this role you will:

• Manage the company’s financial policies, procedures, and practices, to ensure financial information is timely, accurate, complete, and compliant with US GAAP.
• Set up and monitor the effectiveness of an array of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory tax requirements, eligibility for tax incentives, and applicable foreign tax jurisdictions reporting.
• Manage the company’s treasury, including cashflow forecasting, FX hedging, and deposits, and manage the digital currency activity.
• Take part in cross-company projects and promote automation projects and process improvement.
• Implement cross-functional processes and policies, such as purchase-to-pay, revenue collection, equity investments, and fixed assets.
• Mentoring and coaching the finance team.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in the field.
• CPA internship in one of the big-4 accounting firms.
• Proven experience as a Finance Director.
• Significant managerial experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP accounting.
• Passion for creating innovative solutions and automating processes. 
• High English proficiency.
